[You can almost feel the waves of excitement coming from this kid. This is one thing he was not expecting to get to do, but also a thing he always dreamed of being able to eventually do.

...Apparently this is a promise Lysandre is actually going to get to keep.]

[HE'S NOT THAT BAD AT KEEPING THEM, IS HE oh who are we kidding, of course he is

However! He's able to talk Miss Usami into programming this thing for them at least (he's certain he could manage to figure it out if given time, but it's pretty difficult to put yourself under, if not utterly impossible...), and he's got a few locations in mind that might be appropriate; absolutely none of them are Geosenge, because he is making a rather pointed effort to avoid Geosenge for the time being, and while Lumiose is certainly a possibility, he'd prefer to not lose the damn kid within the first five seconds and he knows that that is exactly what would happen if he showed him Lumiose.

...Anistar City, however, is fairly appropriate; why not, then. Let's do this thing, shall we?]

[YES LET'S. ...And yes, the last thing we need to be doing is losing Jimmy in Lumiose. Even the most well oriented of people are apt to get horribly lost on those streets, so that automatically means Jimmy would disappear the second they got there.

SO, YES, ANISTAR SOUNDS WONDERFUL LET'S GOOO.]

[...Look, there are a few outcomes he can see as being entirely possible upon taking Jimmy to Kalos, hologram or otherwise, and none of them are exactly good. The first is taking him to Lumiose and immediately losing him, the second is taking him anywhere near Route 12 and the kid will just never get off the damn Skiddos at that one ranch, the third is taking him to Snowbelle and having him wander into that forest nearby and promptly become the most Disney of Princesses, and the fourth is running into Team Flare simply because he expects them to be somewhere and so they will be. Obviously the first and the last are the worst - but still, there's only so much Disney Princessing that Lysandre can handle (even if he's capable of using Mega Evolution, which is pretty much a sign that one is quite the Princess themselves), so let's try to avoid too much of...that.

Anistar it is, then.

The first thing that really registers for him is the Pokémon Center - something that he finds himself mildly grateful for, because he would really prefer to not have to try to get his bearings. But the Center is familiar, placing them solidly on the southern end of town, and the air is cool and sharp, fitting for the close proximity to the sea.

It's been a while since he's been here, if the way his gaze is shifting around is any indication; at least the memories associated with this place are good ones, mostly, which is more than he can say for Snowbelle and Geosenge.]

...This is impressive...

[...And so of course he comments on the damn technology before anything else. Good job, Lysandre. Handshakes all around.]

[For once, Jimmy is left quite literally speechless by both the suddenness of the transportation, and the Pokémon Center itself. While the technology that brought them here sure is something, this is...entirely a different something altogether. All he can really do is just stare and look around the facility, watching people coming and going along with their Pokémon.]

Woooooah....

[It takes Lysandre a moment to remember that Jimmy has probably never seen anything like this before; the thought seems to amuse him a bit once it occurs to him, however - Centers are obviously something that he's always known about, since he was a child, and it's odd to think that he's with someone who has no idea what he's even looking at.]

This is a Center - you come here after spending a good amount of time on the Routes or after battles that were particularly difficult, usually. The nurses at the counter heal your Pokemon free of charge; it's a service provided to all trainers, it restores all of the Pokemon you have on you to full health, wakes up any that have fainted and removes any issues like poison or paralysis.

[...it's not nearly as dire as it sounds, judging by how flippant he sounds about it.]

People come and go quite frequently; it's always open.

[....Give him a minute to just....let all of this sink in because wow. While Lysandre is describing the place Jimmy is still trying to get a good look at everything, tearing his gaze away from the various trainers and their Pokemon to look at the different areas of the Center as Lysandre mentions them in turn.]

Oh wow....so this place is kindof like...a hospital for Pokémon?

[To put it extremely bluntly. This place is so fancy holy crap he's almost scared to do anything other than just...stand there and stare at everything.]

Yes, it's something like that.

[It's simplifying it a little, but you know what, as long as the basic gist is there he's not going to argue it too much.]

...You can look around, you know. They don't mind.

[Jimmy looks back up at Lysandre for another brief second of confirmation before moving away from him to do exactly that. It's a bit difficult for him to keep his concentration centered on a certain thing for too long, since beyond the place just being filled with stuff, there are literally Pokemon all over the place. They aren't his so he's not going to approach them, but that isn't going to stop him from admiring them all from afar, occasionally just stopping off to the side to watch a trainer receive their pokeballs after their team had been healed.

After a while he'll wander back over, looking the picture of a kid in a candy store- and he hasn't even left the darn place yet.]

This is so cool, Lysandre! So...you said all the towns in Kalos have Centers like this, yeah?

[Trying to imagine every town having a place like this is a thing he's trying to do and he just can't wrap his head around it.]

[Lysandre is content to watch from a distance; it's not as though Jimmy can really go very far, given that there's all of one exit, and if he remains stationed by it then the kid can't just vanish into the aether.

So he leans back against the wall for a moment, and he folds his arms and he watches as Jimmy mills around; it's...well, it's kind of standard Kalos, far too many Furfrous and Espurrs everywhere, but there are a few more interesting sorts around if one looks, and Jimmy is certainly looking around now that he's been granted permission to do so. It's almost endearing, really, though Lysandre is quick to shake that thought off quickly enough.

He'd just about gotten over the sheer amount of sentimentality he'd picked up on Jabberwock Island; as with most emotions picked up while under a state of constant duress, he'd been under the impression that it was fleeting, and the way things had returned to the status quo after he'd left had done nothing to dispel that thought. However...

...Mnngh.

But Jimmy returns soon enough with questions, and that's something to focus on, and so he does.]

Of course they do - though there are other things in the city to see yet, some more interesting than this. Shall we?

[Unfortunately, with Jimmy around, it's nearly impossible to not feel feelings of some sort. At least they're generally good ones. And Jimmy is definitely a curious sort, but he's going to listen to Lysandre to the absolute tee, here, so him wandering off intentionally won't be an issue.

Unintentionally, however...]

Oh- ..yeah, right! Of course!

[He would gladly spend the rest of the day just sitting in the Center, but if the city itself is any much more than what he's seeing right now then he's in for a treat.]

[Well. Come on, then...

Once they're outside Lysandre is again struck by the realism of the simulation; the salt air strikes him hard, but he can't say he minds it. There's a bridge with a small railed-off pier built into it just to the west, benches overlooking one of the inlets; the streets to the east and the north, on the other hand, are lined with shops and cafes. Perhaps most striking, however, is how casual everyone is, with both each other and the Pokemon at their sides; most are the domesticated-looking sort, Espurrs and Skitties and Furfrous, but there are a few exceptions - Skiddos and Absols and the occasional Litleo, depending on the trainer's taste.]

It's been some time since I was here last; I think I remember where everything is, however.

[Honestly, at this point Jimmy has forgotten that this is supposed to be a simulation. Everything feel so real that it's become easy to just assume that they're actually in Kalos. Still, they might as well be.

The city causes Jimmy to come to a stop at Lysandre's side, his expression changing from one of quiet awe to more...well, surprise than anything. Up until now, he had never experienced a real city quite like this one, and nothing on Jabberwock island really held a candle to this. Miseryville is a town in itself but on an opposite end of the spectrum in terms of mood and just the way everything looks.]

I've never seen a city like this before...

[Lysandre is spared of the usual 20 questions this time, apparently.]
